Miss Colorado United States 2023-2024, Mariana Fong, Launches Nonprofit to Empower Youth
Mariana Fong, the reigning Miss Colorado United States, is proud to announce that she has launched her own nonprofit organization, Resilient Rising Foundation, aimed at mentoring and supporting young individuals in overcoming life’s challenges.
Mariana, the first bilingual queen to win the title, has not only captivated hearts with her grace and poise but has also dedicated her time and efforts to serving communities across the entire state. Miss Colorado United States has proven that true beauty shines from within through her selfless acts of kindness and charity work. Her reign has been one not only of glamour but of compassion and generosity.
Mariana’s journey to the crown was marked by personal tragedy and triumph. Following the tragic loss of her father, Mariana found direction and purpose again through an inspiring mentor, which significantly altered her life’s path. This experience has fueled her passion for mentorship and advocacy, leading her to establish the Resilient Rising Foundation.
The nonprofit focuses on providing mentorship, academic and career guidance, and personal development activities. Resilient Rising aims to support young individuals facing adversity by offering them the tools they need to build confidence, develop essential life skills, and succeed.
Since her coronation, Mariana has actively engaged with various communities, providing mentorship and supplies to over five schools throughout Colorado. Her efforts extend beyond temporary aid, aiming to create lasting change and inspire a cycle of giving. Mariana says, “I want to show the younger generation that sparkle comes from somewhere deeper inside, somewhere pure, authentic, and real that doesn’t need gloss, polish, or glitter to shine.”
In addition to her philanthropic work, Mariana is pursuing a career in the medical field as an aspiring nurse anesthesiologist, is a practiced taekwondo martial artist, and an avid hiker, demonstrating her diverse talents and dedication to personal excellence.
