Exposes Mentees to International Travel with Barcelona, Spain Excursion!

Hey Lady by Tania, a Black-owned lifestyle brand, and movement created for women forty and over will officially launch the Hey Lady Mentorship Initiative (HLMI), June 21, 2021, to help young women navigate entrepreneurship and to broaden their horizons. It was announced today by Hey Lady by Tania™ founder, Tania Richardson.

The purpose of the initiative is to guide young women and emerging entrepreneurs seeking to start or grow businesses of tomorrow. As the conduit, Hey Lady by Tania™ will connect industry experts with mentees between the ages of 16-21 located in Atlanta, GA, Los Angeles, CA, and Philadelphia, PA who are willing to commit to a 12-month program.

Although this initiative is a pilot program, Richardson has successfully mentored in the past.

“One of the greatest fulfillments in my life is being a mentor, said Richardson. “Seeing young women that we’ve mentored prosper and thrive gives me indescribable joy.”

The list of mentors, age 40 and over, are industry experts who derive from a range of professional backgrounds — law, professional services, real estate, entertainment, education, insurance, financial services, and more — are members of the Hey Lady™ network.

“As an entrepreneur, mentorship has played a pivotal role in the success of my businesses,” said Richardson. “As a businesswoman who gives back, I believe it’s my responsibility to provide a program for our young women to have the opportunity to achieve professional and personal growth.

Three mentors and three mentees will be selected to participate in the program. The announcement will be made on May 15, 2021.

At the 12-month mark, the six participants will take a trip to Barcelona Spain. Hey Lady by Tania will sponsor roundtrip airfare and hotel accommodations.

“The trip to Barcelona is to broaden the mentee’s horizons,” says Richardson. “Part of the Hey Lady by Tania movement is to expose women to international travel. Travel opens your heart, broadens your mind, and equips you with stories to tell. This is a great way to encourage the ladies to aspire for more in life.”
