How a QuickBooks Supercondense Reduces File Size and Makes the Switch to QuickBooks Online Easier

Brandon, MB – September 20, 2021 – Files over the size of 300 MB will result in the sluggish performance of QuickBooks, deterring performance such as processing payments or generating reports.

A large file is considered anything approaching or exceeding 500 MB for QuickBooks Pro and Premier, and 1.5 GB for Enterprise. Indicators of a large QuickBooks file is getting booted out of the company file, random shutdowns without reason, inability to open the company file, missing file information, balance sheets that are out of balance, missing transactions, and a lagging company file.

E-Tech’s SuperCondense service expels old data whereby the size of the file is deceased by as much as 80 percent. “The SuperCondense feature is an advanced version of the Condense feature in QuickBooks and has proven to have far more extensive results with both document size and the QuickBooks’ pace,” E-Tech’s Technical Services Manager John Rocha said.

This service significantly reduces the file size of your QuickBooks data file resulting in higher responsiveness and faster performance, higher network stability, less prone to data corruption issues and a significantly reduced file size.  It also results in customers, vendors and items to stay well under the 14,500 limit for Pro and Premier, making it easier to convert large files to QuickBooks Online.
