FactoryFix Goes Fishing for Manufacturing Talent With $100,000 Lake Fishing Contest

FactoryFix, the most robust manufacturing job board in the U.S. with 350,000+ jobs for skilled workers, is fishing for manufacturing talent this summer with a lake fishing contest that could end with one lucky participant catching a $100,000 fish. FactoryFish will kick off the first weekend of August at Syracuse Lake near Southbend, Ind., with 200 channel catfish tagged with a number and #FactoryFish.

Anyone who catches a tagged fish during the live fishing contest will be closer to winning the $100,000 grand prize throughout the weekend. On Sunday, August 8, those who successfully caught a #FactoryFish will have their fish number entered into a number randomizer, with one lucky participant selected to see if they match the winning number for the grand prize. If only one participant were successful in catching a #FactoryFish, their fish number must match the winning number.

“Regardless of catching the correct number, everyone who catches a #FactoryFish walks away with a $100 bill,” said FactoryFix CEO Patrick O’Rahilly. “We’re changing people’s lives at FactoryFix every day, helping skilled workers land great paying jobs with some of the best Made in the USA shops around the country. We figured this contest would be a great opportunity to have some fun and possibly change someone’s life in an even bigger way.”

Following Indiana, FactoryFix hopes to take the FactoryFish competition to additional Midwest states before proceeding onto Texas, Tennessee, California, Washington, and Oregon. The competition is open to anyone with a valid state fishing license who wants to drop a line for a chance at a $100,000 windfall.
