Coilovers.com A new sponsor for Pennsylvania driver Nick Kohrs
Racing Coilovers USA recently launched it’s multi-brand www.coilovers.com e-commerce site, and in-part with Fortune Auto, and Swift Springs, have recently sponsored Nicholas Kohrs, a driver from Murrysville, Pennsylvania.
Nick completed his mechanical engineering degree at Robert Morris University, and currently works as a project manager for a local construction company. He got his start in car modifying when he simply purchased a shift knob for his 2009 Honda Civic Si, from there, it was a slippery slope of endless considerably larger modifications.
After going down a rabbit hole of modifying his ‘Si’ to a degree he had not expected, Kohrs started taking his car to local autocross events open to novices. A season of autocross later, he decided to try out road course at Pittsburgh International Raceway. There he was instantly hooked and knew road course racing was what he wanted to do professionally.
Currently, his Civic is built for Gridlife’s Time Attack SM Class utilizing class spec custom aero, weighing 2650lbs without driver, and is making around 480whp. With a continuous drive to improve the cars performance, a better set of coilovers were high on his list of modifications for the next season.
With a couple coilover brands in mind, Coilovers.com made it easy to see what multi-brand options were available for his needs.
